| Hey! Does anyone want to join me in a new challenge? I am currently at 226 and challenging myself to get down to 218 by the Thanksgiving challenge weigh-in. (BEFORE the turkey dinner!) So, between then and now, at Halloween, I want to be at 221. That's 5 pounds and surely an attainable goal. How about YOU? Wanna join me? You don't even have to dress up in a costume! LOL!

| Maxibee, Of course I will join you! Although Halloween is not a favorite holiday for me....maybe if I reach my goal I will feel I have something to celebrate. Here are my stats 195/195/187 that is 8 pounds. not much but since I only usually lose 3 pounds a month it is raising the bar a little. I want to be bootiful by halloween. Amy G |

| I'll try this challenge also. I'm in the Thanksgiving challenge, but it seems a bit far away for me also. We have what? 7 weeks until Halloween now? I'll shoot for 10. I'm in at 163 and would like to see 153 for halloween (I might be able to fit into one of those French Maid's outfits...my DH would go nuts!). If I reach my goal by then, I might change my goal, but changing my goal for the labor day challenge seemed to send me up against a brick wall, but 10 is doable (hopefully.)

| Hey Maxibee ![]() Count me in - I always need little goals, since I need to take a day at a time. I'll try for 187 this time; right now I'm at 193 (up...down...up....down), so we'll see if I can get six pounds off by Halloween.

| Count me in on this challenge. My goal is to lose 10 pounds from today (September 11th) to October 31st. I weigh 211 (or I did on Tuesday -- that is my weigh-in day). So, by October 31st, I want to weigh 201.

| ME too, me too, me too! Sign me up for 9 lbs--I would like to be 161 by Halloween! I am starting at 170! My stats look like this: 170/170/161! I have had a slow week--not gained but not lost either--TOM left in themiddle of the week and I am still waiting for hte whoosh that usually follows! LOL

| Count me in. :great: I think I bit off more than I can chew with the Thanksgiving Challenge. This one I'll make a little more realistic. And it'll feel good to reach it sooner than wonder about it later. I'm gonna go with 10 pounds by Halloween. A little more than a pound a week. I believe that is do-able for me. So, I'm starting this challenge with my weight as of this morning which is 376.5. If I can break into the new decade by mid-October I'd be thrilled.

| Hi maxibee and everyone! count me in!!! I'm at 219 today and want to reach 199 by halloween, so my goal is a 20 pound loss. i love halloween - last year i was vampira...(see photo attached) and we make the house very scary. its a ton of fun. but i eat too much of the candy... anyways, looking forward to this new challenge and getting to know everyone. Day 1 of 50 Start: 219 Current: 219 Goal: 199 Total Loss: 0 good luck! |

| Hi, all! Please count me in, too. I agree with Tina B- the little goals are a big help. Right now I have my Thanksgiving goal set at 176, and I'm thinking that that is way to conservative. I'd like to set that... well, let's make it 175 for Halloween and then I can revise the Thanksgiving goal later. That makes my stats 189/181/175

| Welcome to the newcomers! We're just getting started with this challenge so everyone is welcome to join at anytime! We have 10 participants so far and here are our stats: Maxibee:226/226/221~5 to go Amy G:195/195/187~8 to go Brandy:163/163/153~10 to go funkynut:223/223/210~13 to go Tina B:193/193/187~6 to go April:211/211/201~10 to go Husker's:170/170/161~9 to go Cushie:376.5/376.5/366.5~10 to go Niki:219/219/199~10 to go Janine:181/181/175~6 to go If we all hit our goal, we will collectively lose 87 pounds, or about one 4th grader! We are all wanting to lose 5 to 10 pounds apiece in this challenge, which I think is very doable. Let me know if there are any mistakes I need to fix. And post any and all losses you want to. I'll put our stats up every Sunday night and maybe sometime in between if I have time. Thanks for joining me and my best to you all in this challenge!

| oh, count me in! This morning I weighed 168.5. I want to lose 20 pounds. That's about 3 pounds a week. I've got my pedometer on and will walk between 8000 and 10,000 steps per day along with low carb and my new attitude of positive thinking! thank you for the challenge! Ann |
